Our vision is a church full of friendly, growing Christians who care deeply about people, our world, God’s honor, and proclaiming the good news of Christ. Prairie Ridge will continue to develop creative ways to effectively build up Christians, show the love of Christ to non-Christians, and make the gospel of Christ relevant and applicable to each person’s need.

Our vision is a positive, caring atmosphere at Prairie Ridge where people can gain encouragement, confidence, and guidance, and be loved and supported.

Our vision is a church with dynamic Sunday services that send people home refreshed, full of hope, and confident in the love of God. We will enthusiastically promote the gospel for salvation and Christian living, and encourage each person in the next step for their relationship with God.

Our vision is a church with dynamic ministries for families and children where the kids can learn about God, develop their character, establish a moral foundation, and find a positive peer group. We want them to love to come to Prairie Ridge Community Church. This vision includes building quality marriages.

Our vision is a church where much of the shepherding, discipleship, ministry and evangelism is happening in and flowing from the Life Groups (our small fellowship groups). In the Life Groups close relationships can be formed to help with personal needs and encourage the faith and character of every individual.

Our vision is a church that values loyalty and supportive, enjoyable friendships. Quality friendships are important to us and necessary for spiritual growth. Prairie Ridge will be a place where it is easy to make friends and become meaningfully involved in the church, and where people will receive care in times of need and challenges for personal growth.

Our vision is a church where serving is a major characteristic of its members. Not many people are gifted in exceptional ways, but everyone can be involved in serving. We’ve designed an approach to evangelism where members team up to serve and befriend their non-Christian friends. We also desire to develop quality relationships with community leaders and be of help to them.

We have designed a decentralized ministry, emphasizing personal ownership and creativity wherever possible. We are excited about God inspiring men and women to reach out to our city with a variety of ministries and Life Groups to care for needs, build people to maturity, and bring the gospel of Christ effectively to new areas.

Our vision is for Prairie Ridge to be devoted to excellence. God is a God of excellence and for His glory we want to be the same. In every area of ministry, from music to women’s events and child care, we want a level of excellence and excitement that builds a reputation and makes people want to return. Our plan is for members and pastors working together according to their spiritual gifts and ministry desires. We want people giving God their best efforts out of a sense of worship as they serve the Lord.

Our vision is a church that is able to effectively train and prepare individuals for full time Christian service. Classes, conferences, and seminars will supplement the training available through Life Groups and Sunday services. At Prairie Ridge we offer quality training in God’s word with obedience as a focus. We provide training in ministry skills, practical experience for leaders, and we emphasize character.

In the future we would like to rent or build a facility to serve as the center for our activities. It would facilitate an auditorium with the equipment and set-up for a dynamic music program, classrooms for the children’s ministries and adult education, equipment and space for excellent child care, attractive areas for receptions, and recreational opportunities. The right building would also allow us to serve the community.

Our vision includes Prairie Ridge as a mission church. We desire all our members to capture a vision to influence our city with the gospel and to participate in fulfilling the great commission locally and world wide. We are working to equip members to have a personal vision in this area and actively team up with others toward that end. When Prairie Ridge grows to a size of sufficient stability and strength we plan to send out men and women to plant new churches as God inspires them. We will provide opportunities for involvement in short term mission trips or other ministry efforts in the U.S. or around the world.

This vision is inspired by God and fueled by His promises. It reflects the abilities and desires of our members, and what we believe God has called us to do. The main point is to glorify our worthy Savior, and help reach the people He is drawing into His eternal family. We realize that we are one part among many, working to help fulfill the Great Commission. God will build His church.
