We need to be reminded of the things that make for a good marriage.

Misinterpretation is the cause of many marital problems. No one is trying to create a problem, something simply gets misinterpreted, and then feelings get hurt. The marriage seminar at Prairie Ridge helped us learn how to interpret each other correctly, and improve our communication. That has made a positive difference in our relationship.

We received some good premarital counseling early in our relationship. That got us off on the right foot. Prairie Ridge has reinforced those same good things for us. Currently in our relationship, it is still helpful to be reminded of the things that make for a good marriage. The support we receive from our friends at church has also been important to us.

At Prairie Ridge we feel accepted. It's great to be reminded that a few mistakes don't make you a bad husband or wife. When we make mistakes we realize that God is still for us and ready to help us. The messages at church often promote that about God. At Prairie Ridge, God's word is explained well, with good application to all areas of life. We like that.
